Founder Elaine Rose

Concrete Rose Publishing wasn't born in a boardroom. It was built by a woman who has spent more than two decades putting words on pages.

Founder Elaine Rose has been writing for over 20 years, building stories while simultaneously navigating careers in business operations and sports journalism — and continuing to create through some of the hardest chapters of her own life.

Her battles with lupus and brain cancer didn't create her voice. They sharpened her understanding of why using it matters.

Concrete Rose grew from that philosophy: circumstances don't get the final edit.

Today, the company represents something larger than one writer or one book. It is being built as a home for storytellers willing to write honestly, take creative risks and tell the stories that don't always fit neatly into traditional boxes.

Some roses are grown in gardens. Ours learned to break through concrete.
